This demographic configuration is an important asset for development, provided that young people are trained and integrated into the labor market. Unfortunately, the lack of an environment conducive to job creation makes it difficult for young people, particularly girls and women, to access technical and vocational training that meets market needs.    <\/p>\n\n<p>It is in this context that the Consortium &#8220;Solidar Suisse-Educo-Aflatoun International has initiated the project Promotion de l&#8217;acc\u00e8s des filles \u00e0 un syst\u00e8me \u00e9ducatif et de formation professionnelle de qualit\u00e9 (PROMESSE-FP) for the period 2021-2024. Funded by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Burkina Faso, this project aims to improve the living conditions of girls and women in the Sahel, North, North Central and East regions, through better access to the labor market and decent incomes.
