The RESICOM and RESCOM community resilience projects are funded by the Royal Danish Embassy. As part of their implementation, Regional Technical Monitoring Frameworks (Cadres Techniques R\u00e9gionaux de Suivi – CTRS) have been set up. The first 2023 sessions of these frameworks in the Boucle du Mouhoun and Nord regions took place on November 27 in D\u00e9dougou and November 16 in Ouahigouya respectively. Implementation of the RESICOM project is the responsibility of the Solidar Suisse and SOS Sahel International Burkina Faso consortium, while that of RESCOM is the responsibility of SNV and DRC. <\/p>\n\n

Sharing information on project implementation to promote synergy of action. This is the aim of the regional technical monitoring frameworks. During the various sessions, the 2021-2023 assessments and prospects for community resilience projects were reviewed. The Renforcement de la R\u00e9silience Communautaire des M\u00e9nages Agrosylvopastoraux dans les r\u00e9gions de la Boucle du Mouhoun et du Nord (RESICOM) project focuses on the early recovery of vulnerable households, including internally displaced persons, rebuilding livelihoods and promoting social cohesion. The same applies to the Community Resilience in the Boucle du Mouhoun and Nord Regions (RESCOM) project. <\/p>\n\n

The aim of the Regional Technical Monitoring Committees is to improve the quality of interventions in the field.<\/em><\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n

On both sides, the emphasis is on the triptych of humanitarian aid, development, and the promotion of peace and social cohesion – the triple NEXUS. In D\u00e9dougou, the region’s Secretary General, Adja OUEDRAOGO, chaired the session on behalf of the Governor. In Ouahigouya, Aboubacar Siriki NABE, High Commissioner for Zondoma, represented the Governor. The regional technical monitoring committee for the northern region is coupled with the regional consultation framework. <\/p>\n\n
