Vulnerable households are faced with falling incomes and insufficient and lost agricultural production. Despite food support from the State and its partners, these populations are unable to cover their food needs. To reduce their vulnerability, the RESICOM project has implemented an endogenous mechanism to facilitate access to food for vulnerable households during the lean season. This proven endogenous mechanism is the &#8220;solidarity granary&#8221;. This approach consists of setting up food stocks based on voluntary contributions from communities, with the possibility of loans and repayments in kind.
