The “*Inclusive dialogue for better living together*for peace and security in the sahel region” project was officially launched on Thursday, February 28, 2018 in Dori. Lasting 30 Months, this project is funded by the European Union and implemented by the Solidar Suisse consortium and the Union Fraternelle des Croyants (UFC) of Dori. The project aims to contribute to the strengthening of social and communal dynamics for a secure life in the Sahel.

Twelve (12) communes, namely Dori, Sebba,Gorom-Gorom, Gorgadji, Markoye,Bani, Sampelga,Seytenga ,Djibo, Arbinda, Titabè and the regional council are the direct beneficiaries of this project.

According to Dieudonné ZAONGO, Solidar Suisse’s country representative, the project’s main activities are based on two essential axes: consultation and multi-stakeholder dialogue, with a view to helping develop inter-community dialogue reflexes.

René NANA, technical advisor to the Governor of the Sahel and Chairman of the project’s official launch ceremony, welcomed the initiative and called on all the project’s stakeholders and beneficiaries to commit themselves fully to achieving the project’s objectives.
