Economy and Labor

Through this program, Solidar Suisse works to strengthen the livelihoods of vulnerable populations and reduce child labor.

This takes the form of :

• Improving food security by developing and/or strengthening the livelihoods of indigenous and displaced populations and their resilience to climate change and security crises;
• Supporting the development of viable businesses or cooperatives and helping to improve employment opportunities, particularly for young people and women in rural areas;
• Reducing the worst forms of child labor.
