Second edition of the Sahel Communities Day organized by Consortium Solidar Suisse & UFC-Dori.
Colonel Major, Salfo KABORE, Governor of the Sahel region patronized the 2nd edition of the Sahel Communities Day organized by Consortium Solidar Suisse & UFC-Dori this Sunday, October 25, 2020 at the Dudal Djam Peace Center in Dori. This activity is part of the implementation of the project: Projet dialogue inclusif pour un <<better living together>> for peace and security in the sahel region.
The theme of the day is <<Promoting intercommunality to combat stigmatization>>.
After the opening ceremony, officials and members of the public were treated to a fashion show featuring the hair and culinary arts of various national and sub-regional communities, followed by a tour of the stands.
The Governor took the opportunity to thank the Solidar Suisse & UFC -Dori Consortium for their efforts to promote social cohesion.
The overall aim of this Community Day is to contribute to the creation of positive interactions between different social groups, and to the consolidation of peaceful coexistence and social cohesion in the Sahel.
