From Friday 12 to Saturday 13 November 2015 in Loumbila, Solidar Suisse in Burkina Faso in collaboration with the Fond d’ Appui aux Initiatives des Jeunes organized a workshop to support the start-up of youth projects.for the benefit of the young entrepreneurs it supports.
For two days, the young entrepreneurs learned about the conditions to be met to benefit from the support of the Fond d’ appui aux initiatives des jeunes, what a business is, how to be a good entrepreneur, and everything else there is to know about entrepreneurship
The activities of these young people are diverse and include hairdressing, welding, woodwork, plumbing, sewing, agriculture etc. …
Gathered with their mentors, these young people have a common goal: to provide them with the tools they need to develop their projects to the full. The young people promise to respect the conditions laid down for receiving support, and say they will use the budget wisely.

According to Kouanda Abzèta, a young plumbing entrepreneur, she will be purchasing work equipment to carry out her activities to the satisfaction of her mentors and to enable other young people to benefit in their turn. As soon as the financing is secured, we’ll get down to work, because a good entrepreneur needs to be efficient in order to generate income that will enable him to repay his loan,” says Laurent Tapsoba, a young agricultural entrepreneur. As for Sanou Sidonie, a young hairdressing entrepreneur, this financial support will enable her to acquire the equipment she needs to be independent, and to enable those who work in her business to be just as self-sufficient.
