Food security: Solidar Suisse provides farmers in Ganzourgou province with agricultural equipment worth over 20 million FCFA

The official handover ceremony took place on Tuesday February 28, 2023 in Zorgho, at the headquarters of the Association Beoog-Neere du Ganzourgou (local partner). The equipment, which includes wheelbarrows, rakes and shovels, and cement bags for building manure pits, will help boost agricultural productivity.

This equipment handover follows a training session for beneficiary producers on techniques for Soil and Water Conservation/Soil Defense and Restoration (CES/DRS), compost production, etc. These actions are part of the “Strengthening the livelihoods of vulnerable populations (PROREMO-PV) project implemented in the provinces of Ganzourgou, Kourwéogo and Oubritenga for the period 2021-2024.
