After a week’s training on composting, the manufacture of bio-inputs and pesticides, anti-erosion devices, half-moons and zaï, the growers were provided with agricultural equipment.
The official handover ceremony took place on March 10, 2023 at the headquarters of the Association Tind Yalgre de Boussé-ATY, in the presence of the Kourweogo provincial authorities, headed by the province’s Secretary General, who came to represent the High Commissioner, who was unable to attend.
Valued at nearly 26,000,000 fcfa, the equipment handed over includes wheelbarrows, pickaxes, hammers, shovels, crowbars, rakes, etc.
As a reminder, this activity is part of the project Renforcement des moyens d’existence des populations vulnérables (PROREMO PV), financed by Solidar Suisse Burkina and implemented by the Association ATY in the province of Kourwéogo, the Association Beoog-Neere du Ganzourgou in the province of Ganzourgou and the Association Manegdbzanga Loumbila in the province of Oubritenga, for the period 2021-2024.
