Contribute to a lasting qualitative change in inter-community, intra-religious and State relations, for social cohesion in a more secure environment in the Sahel region. This is the ambition of the “Inclusive dialogue for a better life together for peace and security in the Sahel region.
Launched in February 2019 for a duration of thirty (30) months, the project was implemented by the Solidar Suisse Burkina Faso consortium and theUnion Fraternelle des Croyants de Dori (UFC-Dori), in partnership with customary and religious communities, local authorities, defense and security forces, civil society organizations, the media, etc.
Funded by theEuropean Union, the project was implemented in twelve (12) communes spread across the four (04) provinces of the Sahel region: Oudalan, Séno, Soum and Yagha. It brought together religious and customary communities, as well as youth and women’s associations, to develop social and economic building capacities. To achieve this, the project has developed several major actions.
