On April 15, 2022, the Solidar Suisse Burkina Faso-SOS Sahel International/Burkina Faso Consortium organized a ceremony to hand over agricultural kits to producers in the Gourcy commune. The handover is part of the project “Strengthening the community resilience of agroforestry households in the Boucle du Mouhoun and Nord regions” (RESICOM). The materials received are to be used to build water and soil conservation/soil defense and restoration (CES/DRS) infrastructures such as Zaï, stone cordons and BCER (runoff water collection basins), ultimately helping to improve agricultural yields.
