Strengthen local democratic culture and the capacity of local and sub-local authorities to engage in dialogue and make proposals. This is the aim of the “DĂ©mocratie et participation – DĂ©veloppement communautaire participatif dans le Plateau-central et la Boucle du Mouhoun” project . To this end, on March 31, 2023, the first ordinary session of the year was held by the communal consultation framework of DapĂ©logo (Oubritenga province), chaired by the president of the special delegation (PDS) of the aforementioned commune.
Organized by the Special Delegation with the technical and financial support of Laboratoire CitoyennetĂ©s and Solidar Suisse, the session provided an opportunity to present the infrastructure projects planned for the commune for 2023, and to begin the process of reviewing the commune’s communal development plan (PCD), which expired in 2019. To this end, participants were given an update on the PCD development process, the role of local players, the importance of the PCD and the various stages involved in drawing it up.
