Contribute to improving the quality of educational provision by ensuring minimum learning conditions for students, while at the same time creating a framework for social cohesion through interculturality and non-violent communication.
  • The direct beneficiaries of the project are estimated at 1,600 people:
  • Nearly 1,400 students from 08 model schools (40 classes with approx. 35 students each)
  • Some sixty teachers from bilingual elementary school ;
  • 10 SNEC training supervisors
  • Some ninety internally displaced teenagers, aged 9-15.
  • 50 NFE operators
  • The indirect beneficiaries of the project are the family members of the pupils in the 08 bilingual elementary school, the 4,000 learners in the AFID centers and the residents of the displaced population camp housing the experimental center, i.e. an estimated 9,000 people.
  • Outcome 1.1: 08 bilingual elementary school have developed all the components of a quality bi-plurilingual education and are a reference at national level;
  • Outcome 1.2: 08 pilot bilingual schools in three different language zones have integrated interculturality and non-violent communication into their teaching;
  • Outcome 1.3. 08 SNEC schools improve students’ learning conditions through the availability of teaching materials;
  • Result 2.1. The AFID centers’ textbooks are reviewed and adapted to the common core and the new curriculum;
  • Result 2.2. An operational and dynamic system for monitoring AFI-D centers is made available to NFE operators;
  • Outcome 2.3: An education/training approach for internally displaced adolescents has been developed and tested in reception sites in the Centre-Nord region.
