“Contribute to the creation of positive interactions between different social groups and to the consolidation of peaceful coexistence and social cohesion in the Boucle du Mouhoun region”. This is the main objective of the Communities Day held on March 26, 2022 at the Place des Martyrs in the town of Dédougou.

Chaired by the region’s governor, Mr Baho Pierre BASSINGA, the day provided a forum for meetings and sharing between some fifteen host and internally displaced communities from Burkina Faso and four (04) others from the West African sub-region. On this occasion, a charter on social cohesion signed by these communities was presented to the governor.
