To ensure ownership of the two projects at national and local level, and to ensure consistency with national project management systems, each project has a Regional Technical Monitoring Committee (Comité Technique Régional de Suivi – CTRS) for each region. In order to create synergy in the implementation of these two projects and to have a greater impact, the Royal Danish Embassy, as financial partner, wished to set up a single CTRS per region for both projects.
The CTRS is responsible for: (i) assessing projects’ biannual planning and activity reports; (ii) promoting synergy between RESICOM and ResCom and other projects and programs being implemented in the region; (iii) ensuring that projects are consistent with national policies; (iv) carrying out biannual visits to projects; (v) and making recommendations.
The CTRS meets twice a year, convened by its Chairman. For the year 2024, the RESICOM and ResCom projects held two (02) CTRS sessions in the Boucle du Mouhoun and Nord regions during the month of October 2024.
