Strengthening the livelihoods of vulnerable populations in the Central Plateau: Beneficiaries of the PROREMO-PV and PRAJERED-FP projects testify to their achievements

At the end of 2022, we went to meet the beneficiaries of the PROREMO-PV (strengthening the livelihoods
of vulnerable populations) and PRAJERED-FP (promoting access for
young people to vocational training and decent incomes) projects, implemented
by Solidar Suisse in the Plateau Central region, in partnership with
local partners: Association Béogo Néré (Ganzourgou), Association
Manegdbzanga /AM (Oubritenga) and Association Tind Yalgré /ATY(Kourwéogo).

Over and above the projects’ primary objectives, the testimonials we have collected reveal the wider impact of our support for vulnerable rural populations. “Mamounata Kagambèga, a beneficiary of the PROREMO-PV project in the Gazourgou province, tells us: “This activity helps to improve the study conditions of our children who study in town, because during the school year, we use our harvests to provide them with food and pocket money.
