Ceremony to hand over equipment financed by the NGO SolidarSuisse at the headquarters of the Tind Yalgre association in Boussé-ATY.
The total value is estimated at thirty-three million seven hundred and forty thousand (33,740,000) CFA francs, including both the cost of training and the acquisition of equipment financed by the NGO SolidarSuisse, which the handover ceremony took place on June 15 at the headquarters of the Tind Yalgre association in Boussé-ATY. There are 150 beneficiaries for sheep and goat breeding (including 50 beneficiaries of the Initiative de financement des intercommunautaires des activités d’élevage (IFIC)), 45 beneficiaries for cash crops and 05 beneficiaries for beekeeping. Each livestock beneficiary went home with 04 head of small ruminants, and livestock feed and care will also be provided in the coming days. As for the beekeepers, the 25 hives and the equipment made available to them will enable them to produce honey. It should also be said that, with the agricultural season just beginning, beneficiaries of cash crops such as sweet potatoes, sesame, okra and chilli pepper have received seeds, fencing and other agricultural inputs.
