About the theme

In order to sustainably strengthen the livelihoods of farming households, the agri-food sector provides a significant source of additional income. To this end, Solidar Suisse is building the capacity of farmers’ organizations to process and market products from traditional agriculture and/or market gardening. In addition, producers benefit from appropriate infrastructure and equipment for preserving and processing their products. Processed products include onions, tomatoes, moringa, millet, soybeans, etc.
