Food security: Tind Yalgré Association donates equipment to farmers

One of the main missions of the Tind Yalgré Association (ATY) is to create the conditions for the well-being and empowerment of the people of the Kourwéogo province, in a spirit of equity. Indeed, in its 2017-2020 strategic plan, supported by the NGO Solidar Suisse in Burkina Faso, the Association places special emphasis on food security. Through this strategic plan, the Association Tind Yalgé aims to increase the resilience of 4,560 vulnerable people in the province of Kourwéogo.Several activities have been carried out as part of this food security project

Food security and guaranteed livelihoods for small farmers

🎯 Main objective :
Sustainably improve the food and nutritional security and incomes of 8845 small-scale producers, in particular women producers and their families.
📅 Implementation Period :
01.01.2017 – 31.12.2020
👥 Primary Target Groups :
Small-scale producers in livestock, agriculture and market gardening, vulnerable women, farmers' organizations, etc.
📊 Expected Results :
The volume of agricultural production of 1076 project beneficiaries, particularly vulnerable people, young people and women, is increased by at least 50%;
