At the end of the ceremony, Mr. Appolinaire NANA, Food Security and Agricultural Entrepreneurship Project Manager for Solidar Suisse in Burkina Faso, expressed his satisfaction with the level of adoption of agroecological farming techniques by producers. In his view, this was due to the support of local partner Association Béogo Néré and the good will of the producers.

Rasmané Ilboudo has particularly distinguished himself in the practice of agroecology, as he was named best agroecological producer at the end of the competition. In his field, he grows onions, potatoes, tomatoes, maize and other crops. He affirms that the use of natural fertilizer, compost, is very beneficial for the soil and is disease-free. According to him, the soil in his field was clayey and not conducive to market gardening. But since he started using the natural fertilizer, the quality of his field has improved, and this has had repercussions on his production, which has risen in both quality and quantity. Rasmané Ilboudo was rewarded with a motor pump, a cart and rolls of wire mesh to protect his production area.
