As part of the “Promotion de l’accès des filles et des femmes à un Système Educatif et de Formation Professionnelle de qualité (PROMESSE-FP)” project, the vocational training offered was based on the AT3E approach (Apprenticeship, ICT, Entrepreneurship and Financial Education for Employment). This is a training offer that takes into account apprenticeship in trades identified on the basis of growth niches in the communes of intervention, training in life skills and financial education, entrepreneurship, use of ICT, leadership, personal development and literacy. It’s an approach that enables learners to acquire practical skills over a short period of less than 12 months, enabling them to apply them immediately after their training. As part of the PROMESSE-FP project, 1108 girls, including 508 IDPs (45.84%), were trained in the 10 vocational education and training centers opened in Fada, Gayéri, Dori, Kaya, Boulsa and Ouahigouya.
