“Enabling young people to acquire not only theoretical and practical vocational skills, but also life skills for better socio-professional integration”, is the aim of Solidar Suisse through the Learning, ICT, Entrepreneurship, Financial Education for Employment (AT3E) approach promoted as part of the “Promotion de l’accès des filles à un Système Éducatif et de Formation Professionnelle de qualité (PROMESSE-FP)” project . The aim of this approach is to integrate new skills into vocational training curricula, to help young people integrate into the socio-economic fabric. So, in addition to trade apprenticeships, young people receive training in financial education, entrepreneurship, ICT use, leadership and personal development. Halfway through the PROMESSES-FP project, this approach has been successfully implemented both in education and vocational training centers (CEFP) for adolescents excluded from the education system, and in short-term vocational training for master craftsmen.
