On Thursday June 30, 2022, the first session of the steering committee for the “Promotion de l’accès des filles à un Système Éducatif et de Formation Professionnelle (PROMESSE-FP)” project was held in Ouagadougou.

This committee, made up of 20 members from state institutions and NGOs involved in vocational training issues, is the technical body responsible for monitoring and guiding the implementation of PROMESSE-FP project activities. This first session provided an opportunity to clarify the committee’s roles and responsibilities, present the project and review the status of implementation of the 2021 action plan and the 2022 work plan.

  • 📊 Expected Results :
    By 2024, 14,000 pupils from 40 post-primary and secondary schools and 1,200 female learners from CEFPs in the project area have improved their social skills in terms of financial education and life skills, including aspects related to gender inequality, through the use of improved curricula and teaching tools.
