To equip technical players to use the “Delta” platform to ensure digitalized monitoring and evaluation of the “Promotion de l’accès des filles à un Système Educatif et de Formation Professionnelle de qualité (PROMESSE-FP)” project. This was the aim of the training session held from May 31 to June 01, 2022 in the town of Kaya, which brought together members of the Solidar Suisse-Educo-Aflatoun International Consortium and the project’s local implementing partners: OCADES-Kaya and Ouahigouya, Union Fraternelle des Croyants de Dori (UFC), Association pour la Recherche et Formation en Agroécologie (ARFA), Cadre de Concertation des ONG et Associations actives en Éducation de base au Burkina Faso (CCEB), Association pour la Promotion et l’Intégration de la Jeunesse du Centre Nord (APIJ-CN), Tabital Lobal, Conseil Régional des Unions du Sahel (CRUS), Association Tin Tua).

Among other things, participants learned how to set up a project, design a data collection form, and plan, monitor and evaluate activities using key indicators. At the end of the session, participants thanked Solidar Suisse for the acquisition of the “Delta” platform, which will facilitate real-time monitoring of project activities in the various intervention zones.

In his closing remarks, the head of Solidar Suisse’s PROMESSE-FP project, Mr. Saydou SAWADOGO, invited partners to make good use of the platform in order to optimize the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.

The PROMESSE-FP project is financed by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Burkina Faso. The overall objective is to improve access for girls and women in the intervention regions to a quality education and vocational training system, and to decent incomes. The project is run by the Solidar Suisse- Educo – Aflatoun international consortium in partnership with local organizations in the intervention areas (Sahel, North, East and Centre-North regions). This training is part of the implementation of the project’s monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability plan.
